TLDR; of my 19 years on this planet

Heyyo! my name is Ricardo Arevalo and I'm a freelance photographer and student at UNLV pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Photography means alot more than what I can fit on a webpage, but I'll try and hit up the highlights.

Why Photography?

There's some stuff in your life that your gonna forget, that you don't want to forget. Weather that's the sensation of being somewhere, or talking with someone, there's a tactility to our memories that are often lost in our brains as times passes. The reason I love photography, is that If I can capture that moment in a compelling way, I'll never lose the sensation. and if I do it well enough, people who only know me by my work can feel the same thing.

Why Travel Photography?

I never had the opportunity to travel very often when I was a kid. And because of that, my assumptions of how the world worked were solely crafted by what I experienced in my small corner of the world. Though as I grew up and attained the privligdge to travel by myself and explore, the small window I had used to craft my world view, grew. Traveling and documenting the stories of these places fundamentally changed my personal values. So I do this with the goal of widening the window for anyone who might have been in the same position as me, and doesn't have the opportunities to see these places for themselves.
